Sally's Baby Arrives!!
Our Champion Irish Tinker Mare from Europe rewards us with another Champion!
September 25th, 2006 we were thrilled to find little (or not so little!) Keelah by her momma's side. She is everything that we could ever have wished for. Gorgeous markings, healthy, happy, black and white and a filly! Thankyou Sally!!
We had two students with us this year and Jeanette from Denmark was really hoping Sally would foal before she had to leave, in the morning the she has to leave for the airport to go home she goes out to check - and - LOOK, Sally has her baby, just for Jeanette. Franzi (here from Germany) says nobody can pet the baby untill they give momma a scratch on her belly.
We named her Keelah, which is Irish for Beautiful!! How appropriate! She is inquisitve right from day one and momma is so kind and gentle.
October 22, Keelah is almost a month old now and growing stronger and taller everyday. We catch her taking a nap and then she comes for some loving.
Look how solid and square our little angel is! Maybe someday we will be able to hook momma and babe up and drive them as a team.
